Convito celebrating its 39th
Ides of March Sale
Back in 1981, when Convito first decided to have an Ides of March celebration during the doldrums of winter in Chicagoland, our focus was to celebrate Italy - its history, its food, its wines - and to educate the customers about true authentic Italian gastronomy through tastings and offering discounts.
We choose to keep celebrating during this time of year, when the Roman Republic lost its leader, and starting becoming the Roman Empire for the next 500 years.
